The 62nd Fife Scout Group prides itself on its vibrant community spirit and dedication to fostering leadership and life skills among young individuals. To sustain our operations and offer the best experience to our members, we rely significantly on financial support from our membership fees and various fundraising initiatives. One of our primary sources of funds is through the hiring of our equipment, including the much-in-demand minibus and marquees, which are often sought after for various local events and functions. Additionally, we actively participate in community engagements by organising events, such as our popular BBQs at the community gala. Such events serve as a fantastic opportunity for community members to come together and play a pivotal role in our fundraising efforts.
Beyond these initiatives, the generosity of our supporters shines through with contributions made via platforms like Just Giving and Easyfundraising. Every donation, big or small, ensures that we continue our legacy of nurturing the next generation of responsible and compassionate leaders.
The group is a registered charity (SC031155) which means we are more than willing to accept Giftaid as it can add a considerable amount of extra money (25p in every £1) to the bank account so please tick the GiftAid box in OSM when you join us.
